In August, Sotogrande continued its 60th anniversary celebrations with a golf tournament at La Reserva Club. This event was an opportunity for members of the four championship golf courses in Sotogrande to come together to enjoy both the sport and camaraderie in honor of the destination’s milestone.
The day started with a competitive round of golf at La Reserva Club. Following the game, attendees gathered for an al fresco meal on the lawn outside the clubhouse. The meal included appetisers, traditional Spanish rice dishes, and desserts, accompanied by live music that created a relaxed and charming atmosphere.
After the meal, a prize-giving ceremony took place, and various activities were offered at the range. Participants then had the chance to engage with and learn from legendary Spanish golfer Manuel Piñero who offered up both expertise and stories, and also participate in a long drive competition that was hosted by PING on the driving range.
The event successfully brought members of the Sotogrande community together to commemorate the region’s 60th anniversary through a wonderful golf tournament enjoyed by all.
