LIV Golf Andalucia
From 11th to 13th July 2025, Real Club Valderrama will host the LIV Golf Tournament for the third consecutive year. You’ll see 54 of the world’s best golfers competing in 13 uniquely named teams. They’ll battle it out over three days in a 54-hole format. This event, LIV Golf Andalucía, is the tenth stop in the global series of fourteen tournaments.
Last year, Sergio García and his Fireballs GC team triumphed at LIV Golf Andalucía. García staged a remarkable comeback from seven shots down to claim his first individual LIV Golf title, securing victory on the second hole of a sudden-death play-off against Anirban Lahiri of Crushers GC. Meanwhile, his teammates Abraham Ancer and David Puig defeated Crushers captain Bryson DeChambeau and Paul Casey in the team aggregate play-off, earning the Fireballs both trophies at Real Club Valderrama.
Garcia said afterwards: “Winning the individual title on my favourite course in front of my family, friends and teammates is obviously a dream come true.”
This year, Sergio García returns as captain of the Fireballs GC team, joined by fellow Spaniards Luis Masaveu and David Puig, along with Abraham Ancer from Mexico. Meanwhile, Jon Rahm leads the newly formed Legion XIII team.
LIV Golf continues to broaden the appeal of the sport by blending world-class golf with the energy of a music festival and interactive entertainment. One of its standout features is the ‘Party Hole’ — a designated area where fans can enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with DJs, crowd interaction, and plenty of excitement. Players even select their own “walk-on songs” to be played as they approach the tee. Musical acts and DJ performances keep the energy high after the day’s play.
See you at Real Club Valderrama this July!
