The Beach to host third cinematic evening as part of the Six Decades of Cinema 60 anniversary event

As part of Sotogrande’s 60th anniversary celebrations, The Beach at La Reserva Club will be hosting the third in a series of cinematic evenings, to continue their celebration of the past six decades of cinema.

Honey, I shrunk the kids will be displayed on the terrace at The Beach – for which will be the third cinematic experience that residents and guest can immerse themselves in, among the comforts provided by The Beach.

The BAFTA winning movie features Rick Moranis and Marcia Strassman and follows a scientist father of a teenage girl and boy who accidentally shrinks his and two other neighbourhood children to the size of insects. The family friendly adventure and comedy is perfect for everyone to enjoy.

With the screen located by the adult pool area, guests will be able to watch the film while overlooking the natural surroundings and Sports Lagoon at The Beach.

The film starts at 21:30, residents and guests can sit back, relax and revel in some of the best cinema has to offer – with the bar and restaurant open for food and beverages throughout the evening.

Film viewing will be free of charge to everyone booking a table, with food and beverage to be paid upon consumption. Dinner will be served from 20:30 until 22:30, with a varied menu available from the dedicated team at The Beach.

Between July and September, guests will have four more unique opportunities to enjoy the Outdoor Cinema Festival, with each of the remaining evenings dedicated to an era within the past six decades.

  • 15th August: Alice in Wonderland
  • 2nd September: Zootopia
