Restaurant Cortijo Santa Maria is the flagship restaurant at SO/ Sotogrande Spa and Golf Resort. The restaurant is located in the main building of the hotel, on the upper floor.  

This central location allows visitors and hotel residents to gather in true “cortijo” style; with fine dining that encompasses a feast of dishes and flavours that reflect all the marvels of Andalusian cuisine. You may choose an artisan cocktail in the lively bar, dabble in the extensive wine list, experience creative tapas, or sample one of the regular culinary experiences.  

The menu includes delicious Iberian hams and cold cuts, paired alongside an array of Andalusian cheese – from traditional Payoya goats cheese to the only Andalusian blue cheese, marinated with Oloroso wine or cured and made from sheep’s milk.  

The cheese menu shows the extensive options available to guests and traces the options from Cadiz, Sevilla, Cordoba and Malaga that make up the Andalusian options. For main courses, artichoke flower, cod loins, lamb shoulder and squid are available, alongside tuna specific to the Cadiz region. Fresh seafood cooked to perfection always keeps guests returning for more. 

Highlights on the dessert menu include crispy meringue with figs and honey, creamy rice pudding with coconut, chocolate with caramel textures and many more.
