Six Decades of Cinema 60th anniversary event – A Simple Wish

As part of Sotogrande’s 60th anniversary celebrations, The Beach at La Reserva Club will be hosting the fourth in a series of cinematic evenings, to continue the celebration of the past six decades of cinema.

A Simple Wish will be displayed on the terrace at The Beach. This children’s fantasy film follows a fairy godmother as she helps a young girl fulfil her wish to see her father win the leading role in a Broadway musical. Featuring Martin Short and Mara Wilson, guests can look forward to a light-hearted, feel-good film to enjoy under the stars in Sotogrande®.

With the screen located by the adult pool area, guests will be able to watch the film while overlooking the natural surroundings and Sports Lagoon at The Beach.

The film starts at 21:30. Residents and guests can sit back, relax, and revel in some of the best that cinema has to offer – with the bar and restaurant open for food and beverages throughout the evening.

Film viewing will be free of charge to everyone booking a table, with food and beverage to be paid upon consumption. Dinner will be served from 20:30 until 21:30, with a varied menu available from the dedicated team at The Beach.

Between August and September, guests will have three more unique opportunities to enjoy the Outdoor Cinema Festival, with each of the remaining evenings dedicated to an era within the past six decades.

Upcoming summer cinema programme:

  • 1st August: A Simple Wish
  • 15th August: Alice in Wonderland
